Questions, answered
When do plans start?
Paid plans begin at the November 2026 launch. Right now Aligna is in beta, and beta families use everything free. When plans begin, every new family gets the first month of Together free.
Do I need a card to start?
No credit card is required to join the beta. We do suggest adding one so your family can keep using Aligna without interruption when plans begin, and you can cancel anytime before your free first month ends.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. You can move between Aligned, Together and In Harmony whenever your family's needs change. Upgrades apply right away, and downgrades take effect at your next billing date.
What is an AI assist, and how many do I get?
An AI assist is one time Aligna does the thinking for you, like turning a school email into a calendar event, rebalancing a chore, or drafting your daily briefing. Aligned includes Light AI support at 15 assists a month, Together includes Everyday AI support at 150 a month, and In Harmony includes High-volume AI support at 400 a month.
Can I add more seats or AI assists?
Yes. On Together and In Harmony you can add extra family seats for $3 per seat a month, and top up AI assists for $3 per 100. Aligned does not include add-ons, and you can add or remove them anytime.
What is a Founding Family?
A limited founding offer for families who sign up with us at the MIT AI Innovation Lab. Founding Families lock In Harmony features at $19.99 a month for life, instead of $24.99. Spots are limited and the rate stays with you as long as you keep Aligna.

Through beta, Aligna supports two-partner and single-parent households. We are adding more family structures as we grow, so however your family runs, there is a place for you here.
